Confirmation Volunteer Opportunities
Confirmation students must complete at least 10 hours of volunteer work at our parish.
Bring the Volunteer Hour Sheet with you when you volunteer!
- Write the date you complete your volunteer work,
- what the work was,
- and how many hours you spent volunteering that day.
- Ask an adult supervising the volunteer work to sign this form.

Dożynki — September 4, 6, & 7
Set-up will be Thursday (September 4) at 5:00 PM.
The festival will run 12:00-7:00 PM on Saturday (September 6) and 12:00-5:30 PM on Sunday (September 7).
- Debbie needs volunteers at the Youth Ministry booth to sell root beer and orange soda floats, lead a "take a chance" game, do face painting, and shoot hoops.
- Jen needs volunteers to bring food to the vendors and to watch the vendors' booths while they go to the restroom.
- Renia needs volunteers for the Polish food booth to bring food from the church hall outside.

Sunday CCD — every Sunday at 10:00-11:00 AM (Calendar)
Volunteers are needed at CCD on Sundays (10:00-11:00 AM in the Bartlewski Center).
Stop by the office on the main floor to check in.
Ask the teacher you are helping to sign your volunteer hour sheet.
CCD starts on September 14 and ends April 26.
Sorting Bottles/Cans — September 21 at 11:00 AM
Volunteers can help the Youth Ministry sort bottles/cans by the Bartlewski Center garages.
Ask Debbie or another adult to sign your volunteer hour sheet.
Bottles/cans are sorted once a month. Check back here or the bulletin for the next date/time.
Sandwich Sunday — after Mass on the last weekend of the month
Volunteers will meet in the church hall after the TBD Mass to prepare 50 sandwiches for delivery to St. Vincent de Paul homeless shelter in Bristol.
Ask Debbie or another adult to sign your volunteer hour sheet.
Sandwich Sunday is the last Saturday/Sunday of each month. Mass times vary.
Tuesday Dinner at the Zion Lutheran — October 7 at 3:00-5:15 PM
Volunteers from our parish prepare dinner at the Zion Lutheran soup kitchen (27 Judd Street, Bristol) starting at 3:00, and service ends at 5:15 PM.

Service Sunday — November 23 at 11:00 AM
Service Sunday begins in the church hall at 11:00 AM. Everyone is invited.
Service work includes:
- preparing and delivering Thanksgiving food baskets,
- setting up the Advent giving tree,
- changing out the missalettes, boxing up food pantry donations,
- and more.

Altar Serving — every Mass
If you're not already an altar server, speak to Deacon Rich after Mass to learn more and sign up for altar serving.
You can altar serve on weekends and weekdays. See the Mass schedule in the bulletin or here.
