The retreat will be at Holy Family Retreat Center in West Hartford. Please arrive at 1:45 PM. The retreat ends at 6:00 PM. Dinner will be provided.
Confirmation 🔥

Confirmation will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford. Students and sponsors must arrive by 1:15 PM. Mass starts at 2:30 PM and ends around 4:00 PM.
What needs to be done before Confirmation:
1. Choose a Confirmation Saint 😇
2. Complete 10 Volunteer Hours 🤝
3. Choose a Sponsor 🙏
A sponsor has three main roles:
Before Confirmation, the sponsor assists the candidate as they prepare for the sacrament.
During Confirmation, the sponsor presents the candidate to the bishop by telling the bishop the candidate’s saint name.
After Confirmation, the sponsor helps the confirmed person to fully live out his or her Catholic faith.
A sponsor must meet three requirements:
1. is at least sixteen years old
2. is a baptized Catholic, who has been Confirmed and has already received the Blessed Eucharist, and meets the three sub-requirements:
- sincerely believes and strives to put into practice the Word of God as taught by the Catholic Church,
- regularly takes part in the Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation,
- and if married, was married in accordance with the requirements of the Catholic Church.
3. is neither the father or the mother of the candidate for Confirmation
