Frequently Asked Questions
When are classes held?
Classes for Grades 1-8 are held at 10:00-11:00 AM on Sundays, beginning on September 14, 2025. Click here to view the Sunday calendar.
Classes for Grades 9-10 are held at 6:00-7:00 PM on Mondays, beginning on September 15, 2025. Click here to view the Monday calendar.
Where are classes held?
Classes are held in the Bartlewski Center.
- Grade 1 is located on the main floor next to the office.
- Grades 2, 3, 4, and 5 are located downstairs.
- Grades 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are located upstairs.
How do I register my child for religious education?
- Complete the Student Registration form.
- Pay the registration fee at the first day of class or ahead of time in the parish office.
What is the registration fee?
The registration fee is $50.00 for parishioners and $75.00 for non-parishioners.
If a student loses his/her textbook, an additional $20.00 fee will be charged to replace it.
When do children receive sacraments?
Children in Grade 3 will receive First Reconciliation and First Communion in the spring.
The Archdiocese of Hartford is lowering the age for Confirmation from Grade 10 to Grade 8. The transition will take place over the next few years.
- Students entering Grade 10 will be confirmed in Spring 2026.
- Students entering Grade 9 will be confirmed in Fall 2026.
- Students entering Grade 8 will be confirmed in Spring 2027.
- Students entering Grade 7 will be confirmed in Fall 2027.
- Students entering Grades 1-6 will be confirmed in Spring of Grade 8.
