Youth Ministry

Our Mission: 

The Mission of the St. Stanislaus Youth Ministry is to provide opportunities for youth in our parish to be active participants in the Catholic faith community

Our Goals:

The goals for the St. Stanislaus Youth Ministry are for youth to socially interact with peers of our church, to serve the needs of people in the community, and to deepen youth's relationship with God through prayer and worship. 

 

 

 

 

 All youth in grades six and above are invited to participate in all Youth Ministry activities. 

 

"Sundae Sunday" is scheduled for Sunday, September 22!

Everyone (children, youth, parents, teachers, and grandparents) is invited to join the Youth Ministry for an Ice cream Sundae Social beginning at 11:00 A.M. in the church hall!

2024 Mission Trip to Puerto Rico:

A slideshow presentation of photos from the 2024 Mission Trip to Puerto Rico will be shared on Thursday, August 22, 2024 in the church hall beginning at 6 pm. 

  • Everyone is invited to attend the slide show presentation.
  • The date and location of the 2025 Mission Trip will be announced at the completion of the slideshow.
  • Please join us for the slide show followed by an open discussion with the Youth and Chaperones regarding their experience. 
  • Light refreshments will be served.

Fundraisers:

Bottle and Can collections are the first weekend of every month. 
The youth and adult volunteers will meet to sort, bag, and count. 


 

 

Scholarship:

The Youth Ministry awards a $1,000 scholarship to one youth who is enrolled in an accredited College or University, has been an active member of the Youth Ministry program, and has participated in at least one Mission Trip. The application will be available in the spring and details will be outlined in the bulletin. 

 

Service Opportunities:

Sandwich Sundays: Come make sandwiches for St. Vincent de Paul the first Sunday of every month. See the bulletin for details. 

Dinners at Zion Lutheran: Come make and serve dinner for those in need. See the bulletin for details.
